Reeher Adds Officer Benchmark Data to Platform

ST. PAUL, MINN. (July 6, 2017) — Reeher, developers of the shared management platform that is transforming the way colleges and universities raise money, recently unveiled community benchmarks within the fundraising platform. For the first time, Reeher users are able to access unique Reeher Community benchmark data directly in the Reeher Platform.

The Officer Benchmarks are designed to give gift officer managers and executives real-time evaluations of officer portfolios compared to the rest of the Reeher Community based on officer roles and peer groups. The benchmarks are predictive, showing metrics calculated over a rolling 12-month window, and are in addition to the existing Officer Goals data, which provide an evaluation of current performance. Officer Benchmarks are an extension of Reeher’s extensive community research in fundraising maturity models and officer talent management. Reeher has included benchmarks that their research show to be the most predictive to determine high performing organizations and long-term gift officer success.

“This is an important advancement in our suite of performance management tools and we are thrilled to offer this benchmark data to our entire Reeher Community,” said Andy Reeher, President and CEO of Reeher. “The benchmarks are a new and innovative way to see how teams compare in nine different areas that, through our Fundraising Maturity Model research, correlate with more productive officers and high performing organizations. This new feature extends our longstanding belief that sharing data and insights across our community of higher ed fundraising professionals will help elevate everyone’s performance.”

“We have had the opportunity to review the new Officer Benchmarks in the Reeher Platform and are very excited about the potential this new capability brings to our team,” said Dori Sontag, Associate Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness, University Advancement at Gonzaga University. “Without leaving the tool that we use to measure gift officer progress, we are also able to access guidelines on how top gift officers throughout the Reeher Community are performing in those same areas. Knowing that the benchmarks stem from key indicators that measure overall gift officer success, we can use these benchmarks to coach on current performance, alter portfolios, and set future officer goals. It is a great addition to the Reeher Platform.”

Founded in 2002, more than 100 universities and colleges utilize the Reeher Platform. Visit www.reeher.com to learn more about the Reeher Platform’s shared system for higher education fundraising management.
