Reeher Announces Major Enhancements to its Activity Center Module, Honored as one of Twin Cities’ Fastest-Growing Companies
The new release improves gift officer compliance and productivity, transparency for managers and executives, and visibility into gift officer pipeline
ST. PAUL, MINN. (Oct. 18, 2016) — Reeher LLC, developers of the shared management platform that is transforming the way colleges and universities raise money, today announced that it has released a number of major enhancements to its Activity Center best practice module within its flagship product, the Reeher Platform. This announcement comes just days after Reeher was honored on Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s Fast 50 ranking of the area’s fastest-growing private companies for the third consecutive year. This year, the company ranked 24th on the list.
The Activity Center module allows officers to file contact reports quickly and follow up on tasks no matter where they are. With minimal data entry, automated reminders and the ability to link contact reports to multiple constituents and team members, Activity Center makes it easy to implement best practices around moves management.
“Activity Center gives gift officers access to tools to easily and accurately track contact reports, proposals and tasks right in the Reeher Platform,” said Andrew Reeher, founder and CEO of Reeher. “This single point of access helps officers effectively manage long-term gift efforts, as well as allows their managers to track these activities and measure their success. It’s meaningful products and enhancements like these, along with our forward-thinking customers and team members, that contribute to honors such as the Fast 50 recognition year after year.”
With Activity Center, gift officers don’t have to take on the cumbersome task of entering contact reports and proposals directly into a donor database. Instead, they have easy-to-follow steps in Activity Center on what content to enter in each field. This creates better user adoption while giving managers better insight into the officers’ pipeline. Activity Center also provides reminders of any upcoming or overdue activities, giving a clear picture of what needs to get done now and in the immediate future. This all culminates with more consistent best practices and processes.
“Our main objective as a Beta program participant was to provide feedback on how the major enhancements made to Activity Center best fit with how gift officers and managers need to do their jobs,” said Troy Fritz, Executive Director of Major Gifts at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minn. “We believe that Activity Center’s updated workflow and simplicity of use will be in lockstep with what other higher education institutions need to enhance gift officer productivity, on-board new gift officers more quickly and provide better metrics to manage the proposal lifecycle.”
In addition, a major challenge that institutions face is the gift officer tenure, which averages three years. This short tenure often extends the average length between first-time visit to a prospect and major gift. In the event of a gift officer departure, Activity Center simplifies capturing prospect history and ensuring continuity when transferring prospects to other officers.
Some of the top enhancements with the new release include:
- Enhanced contact reports for more efficient tracking and review
- Emails can be sent to the Reeher Platform that are then automatically converted into the proper contact report fields for accurate and efficient input
- Proposals can now be entered and tracked within the Reeher Platform
- Group proposals can be indicated for better overall tracking purposes
- Related tasks, proposals and contact reports can be linked to existing reports for a complete picture of the fundraising initiatives with that prospect
- List or calendar view of the summary of all current and overdue contact reports, proposals, and tasks
- Tasks can be assigned as reminders for follow-up items
